NIP is a paid internship, where you get paid a stipend of INR 4000 a month in the practicum phase (lasting 4 months). We want you to become Intern-preneurs and not just interns!

The training phase will sharpen your technology and design skills. The practicum phase gives you an opportunity to work with some of the best nutritionists and dietitians in India. Here you will learn about practical aspects of running a nutrition practice, giving you ample confidence to start up on your own.

6 months: includes 6 weeks of training + 2 week break + 4 months of practicum

You will have to invest approximately 10-20 hours per week during the training phase and 20-30 hours per week during the practicum phase.

In the training phase you will master your technology and design skills. You will participate in two of our most popular programs - LIT30 ( Learn IT in 30 days ) and DMC ( Design Masters Challenge). You will also get complimentary access to our NEP Freedom Webinar series (36 webinars). The total value of the training is INR 42,000 which you will get for a highly subsidized fee. Weekly live sessions (2 hours long) will be conducted during the training phase by Dr. Vishal Marwah, Program Director NEP. This is where you will get feedback on your assignments. The sessions will be held on Mondays 7 pm to 9 pm.

The practicum phase is for 4 months, where you will work with 2 mentors for 2 months each. The time commitment is 20-30 hours per week. The work schedule will be mutually decided by the mentor and the intern.

All our mentors are highly successful nutrition entrepreneurs who have established themselves in the space. Several of them are award-winning nutritionists with over 20 years of experience and are working on innovative projects in the space of clinical nutrition, dietitics, sports nutrition, wellness programs, weight management, research, food product development and more! You will get an opportunity to work with any two of our mentors.

Yes, we take every effort to match the interns to their mentors based on their areas of interest. After the training phase, we will conduct a matching session where both mentors and interns share about their work, skills, interest and expectations. Post that they are asked about their preferences and the matching is done.

Ideally we would want you to work with two different mentors so that you get a diverse experience. However, if you wish to work under the same mentor and if your mentor is ok with it we can make an exception.

We can certainly allow for that however it will be subject to availability of vacancies under our mentors.

The training phase is exclusively online. The practicum phase can be online or offline depending on preference of intern and mentor.

In exceptional circumstances, we will give you a grace period of up to 1 year to complete the mandatory 4 month practicum training. We however require you to let us know about it in writing and give us an assurance that you will complete the practicum phase.

Once you have finished the training phase (6 weeks), there will be an assessment on how you’ve performed during this phase. If you have completed all the required coursework, you will be matched with the mentors who will be paying you a stipend for your work.

You will receive your certificate only after the completion of the mandatory practicum phase of 4 months.

Yes definitely you can. However, we do not recommend you to do so during the practicum phase so that you can give your full attention to the internship.

We run two cycles of NIP in a year - Spring cycle - January 26th - July 31st Monsoon cycle - August 15th - February 28th

• NIP is a highly competitive program and we have limited seats. We have a two step admission process. • Step 1: We will evaluate your credentials (degree and institutional eligibility) • Step 2: Interview with our Program Managers (this will be video interview conducted over zoom)

The total fee for NIP is INR 16,000. However, you will be recovering 100% of this investment during the 4 month practicum phase as you will be earning a stipend of INR 4000 per month. As such NIP is a zero-cost, risk-free investment.
